Forest Retreats

Forest retreats for people who might never have done a yoga or meditation retreat – or never dreamed of ever being able to do one. This is yoga-qigong – gentle exercises – where we work on increasing our inner and physical sense of well being. You don't have to be fit or flexible to do this kind of yoga. Warming up the body and preventing injury is a priority.

Forest retreat adventures!

This is how it works: You book your own accommodation separately to the day yoga retreat activities. Then at 9 am we meet for indoor yoga. If the weather allows that day we branch out and start the outdoor yoga-qigong retreat activities at 10.15. If the weather is hard on us we continue indoors. The program includes standing yoga poses, qi dancing movements, dance and meditations, walking meditation, Tibetan bell sounds, and attention to detail in nature exercises. Lunch is at 12.30 and a walking meditation finishes each day's program between 1.00 and 1.30 pm.

What to bring
Bottle of drinking water, fruit, picnic lunch that can be carried during a bush walk, sturdy shoes, warm clothes and a picnic blanket. You will need transport.

Yoga-Qigong half day retreat

We do a half day retreat in a spectacular natural setting. For couples, or small groups. Normally starting 9.00 am and finish at 1.30 pm. But can be tailor made to suit your needs. New timetable coming from February 2009.
